LIQUID FORMULATION FOR GREASE AND ODOR CONTROL

DESCRIPTION:

Alken Enz-Odor® 2 - 5x Manufacturing Concentrate is a unique broad-spectrum chemical and bacterial blend which combines the effectiveness of eight selected acid-loving, non-pathogenic strains of gram-positive, spore-forming Bacillus, in a high-bacterial-count formula, with performance enhancing nutrients to provide a safe, natural way to accelerate the biodegradation of fats, oils, grease and odors found in highly concentrated wastewater. The exceptional strains in this formula produce optimum levels of esterase, lipase, amylase, protease, gelatinase, cellulase, xylanase, lignosuflonase and urease enzymatic activity, while degrading a wide array of organic and fatty acids, with optimum effectiveness. A trio of biodegradable surfactants are included to enhance emulsification of oil and water and to increase product penetration into sources of odor. This concentrate needs only sodium nitrate and water to be added to it, to make our popular ALKEN ENZ-ODOR® 2 formula.

CHARACTERISTICS:

 Bacteria Count:

 1.08 billion CFU/ml

4.08 trillion CFU/gallon

 Appearance:  Turbid tan liquid
 pH:  7.0 - 7.8
 Odor:  Wild hyacinth (proprietary fragrance)

FEATURES AND BENEFITS:

  • 100% gram positive spore form bacteria
  • 2005 improved starch and paper degrading
  • Tested and certified negative for Salmonella, Shigella & E.Coli
  • Eliminates corrosion caused by sulfide oxidation to sulfuric acid.
  • Contains a unique new strain of Bacillus that oxidizes hydrogen sulfide.
  • Inhibits formation of hydrogen sulfide gas, and its accompanying odors.
  • Digests fats, oils, and food grease in lift stations, grease traps, septic systems and drain lines.
  • Improved degradation and deodorization of acetic, butyric, isobutyric, isovaleric, lactic, palmitic, propionic, stearic and valeric organic and fatty acids, partially responsible for odor in some lift stations.
  • Formula denitrifies and anaerobically degrades starch and fats.
  • pH range: 4.5 to 8.0, acid-loving strains in this new formula
  • Temperature range: 42 deg. to 100 deg. F (6 deg. to 37 deg. C).
  • Metabolic pathways: aerobic, anoxic and fermentative.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE:

To make Alken Enz-Odor® 2, with a count of 200 million (2.0 E8) CFU/ml, dilute one part of concentrate with 4 parts of water (without chlorine) to which 100 - 150 g of sodium nitrate, per liter, is added. Use of distilled water will provide a longer shelf-life. This blend is authorized for sale under Alken-Murray's name, Alken Enz-Odor® 2.

For private label formulation, this product contains enough preservative to allow dilution of 1 part concentrate with 19 parts of water to create a finished product with a count of 54 million CFU/ml (5.4 E7). You can also choose to make a product that is 50% of our normal count, at 100 million CFU/ml, by diluting 1 part concentrate with 2 parts water, as directed above and this will be stronger than all competing prodcts.

Alternative formulation: We also offer ALKEN ENZ-ODOR 2-5X NF, if you want to add your own surfactants, thickeners or fragrance from the Alken-Murray approved list of ingredients, but such a product will have to be marketed under private label, since we have no comparable Alken-Murray formula.

PACKAGING AND HANDLING:

Alken ENZ-ODOR® 2-5xFF is packaged in 6 gallon plastic pails with pour spout and 1 gallon of air space to allow product to breathe. Minimum order of 5 pails of concentrate.. Store in a cool place. Avoid contact with eyes, skin, and open wounds. Wash hands with soap and water after handling. Avoid excessive inhalation. Store in a cool, dry place to prolong shelf-life.
