Fight Against Pollution at the River Sorgue in France

Pollution in the Sorgue River had reached such proportions that the river fauna and flora were threatened. Under the supervision of our Alken representatives in France and Switzerland, Alken Clear-Flo® 1200 was used to combat the organic pollutants in the river, in 1993. The river was seeded with 500 kilograms of selected mineralizing bacteria over 306 meters of river. The bacteria literally digested the organic silt and returned the River Sorgue to its original clear condition. The results were visible in two months and the fish, that previously proliferated the river, returned.
