 ALKEN CLEAR-FLO® 7000-3X

Manufacturing Concentrate

Material Safety Data Sheet

GENERAL WASTE DEGRADER

DESCRIPTION:

ALKEN CLEAR-FLO® 7000-3x is a concentrated dry blend of specially developed non-pathogenic, Biosafety Level 1 strains of bacteria (3 strains of endo-spore forming Bacillus and 4 strains of gram-negative vegetative species) for use in domestic, municipal and industrial wastewater, soil remediation, and agricultural applications, where the naturally occurring microbial population is inadequate for timely bioremediation. The microorganisms in ALKEN CLEAR-FLO® 7000-3x have the ability to degrade septage and difficult compounds such as detergents, paper, oil, grease, and hydrocarbons. ALKEN CLEAR-FLO® 7000-3x also controls sulfide and other odors arising from the breakdown of sulfur compounds and effectively reduces biochemical oxygen demand (BOD), chemical oxygen demand (COD), and suspended solids (SS).

CHARACTERISTICS:

 Bacteria count:  10 billion CFU/gm.
 Appearance:  Free-flowing, brown powder
 Odor:  Yeast-like

ADVANTAGES:

  • Resistant to high levels of heavy metals, organic solvents, pesticides, phenols, etc.
  • Cultures grow in either the presence or absence of oxygen.
  • Significantly improves the performance of septic tanks, lagoons, activated sludge, trickling filter and waste holding basins.
  • Effective over a wide temperature (50 deg. F to 140 deg.F) and pH range (5.5 to 9.0)

DOSAGES:

You may dilute this product with 2 parts of clean, pure, finely ground bran and follow the dosages listed on the CF 7000 product bulletin or apply according to the CF 7000 agricultural application product bulletin.

Lakes: Diluted product, with different balance of same strains (higher ratio of Bacillus) is sold as CF 1007. See information on that product. If you intend to apply to aquatic applications , request CF 1007-3x Manufacturing Concentrate instead. While either formula will work, targeted products work better for their own applications.

If you prefer to apply this product full-strength, apply 30% of the dosages listed on the regular bulletins, linked above..

For Municipal Waste Treatment, apply 50% of the dosage listed on the charts:

 Industrial/Municipal dosage charts

To optimize the action of the bacteria, we recommend pre-hydrating for 1 to 2 hours by adding 2 gallons of water at 70 F to 90 F to each pound of product. Make sure water is free of chlorine. Pour entire product, including bran into system. Alternatively, dry powder may be applied directly to the system, either loose or in soluble packets. Avoid use of algaecides, herbicides, and antibiotics when using ALKEN CLEAR-FLO®.

PACKAGING and HANDLING:

ALKEN CLEAR-FLO® 7000 (3x) is packaged in 25-, 50-, and 500-pound containers. Store in a cool dry place. Avoid inhalation of dust and wash hands with warm soapy water after handling.
